Human Awakening: Life projects based on values and life skills
HUMAN AWAKENING
The Human Awakening programme provides an opportunity for personal growth, encouraging participants to awaken through a process of self-recognition and appreciation of their abilities. This process is aimed at developing and strengthening human and social competencies grounded in ethics and values.
The main objective of this programme is to strengthen the psychosocial skills of children and older adults, enabling them to adapt to their environment, be autonomous, and resourceful in achieving their life projects, thereby contributing to their personal, family, and social development.
This programme offers experiential workshops focused on life projects and life skills through the “Learning to Grow” and “Well-being for Older Adults” projects.
ACTIVITIES
The activities of the “Learning to Grow” and “Well-being for Older Adults” projects are delivered through sessions at a single level. These sessions enable children and older adults to recognise their skills and share experiences, all framed by core values.
For children, the focus is on strengthening psychosocial skills to improve coexistence and interaction with their environment through activities involving play, games, and arts.
For older adults, the aim is to strengthen social relationships through activities that encourage active ageing, promoting autonomy and participation in their family and community contexts.
The support delivered within the Human Awakening programme includes balanced snacks, craft kits, school kits, workshop materials, and gifts for closing ceremonies. These ceremonies highlight the effort and dedication of each participant in successfully completing every activity.
